Luiten Vleeswaren uses Exact Globe for her logistical administration, where EDI messages that are sent to and from its customers are of great importance. For sending and receiving EDI messages Luiten Vleeswaren uses the Exact EDI Gateway to properly handle all EDI messages within the Exact Globe administration. What was the situation before and how is the situation now at Luiten Vleeswaren?
Before using the EDI Gateway the orders came in by e-mail and telephone and invoices were sent by e-mail. With larger retailers we now communicate via EDI, where we process orders, packing slips and invoice messages.
What is your experience with the EDI gateway?
The software works very well: every retailer is now connected and there is actually very little work in using the EDI Gateway. When we get new retailers it is very easy to connect them ourselves. Master data can be simply added through the control center which allows us to quickly and easily correct errors if necessary.

What do you think of the knowledge of the EDI employees?
The level of knowledge is considered good. We are very pleased with Rick Venema as product manager who is a clear point of contact for us.
How do you find the price / performance ratio?
Of course consultants are pricey, but EDI is required and at Optimizers they react quickly and the knowledge level is high. When we have questions we always get experienced consultants on the phone, who can really answer the questions.
What is your overall impression Optimizers?
We have a neat impression of Optimizers. We are very happy and we have a fixed point of contact. Optimizers will not let you down when you need them.
