The Hague, July 24, 2020
Optimizers strengthens its B2B e-commerce suite by the acquisition of Eezeebee. Both companies have a very complementary product offering and create a strong strategic fit.
Optimizers is an innovative provider of Saas-based software solutions and mobile apps for Supply Chain and Logistics markets. From operating offices in The Netherlands, Sweden and the US, Optimizers serves over 750 international wholesale and trade companies. Example customers include PostNL, Ahold and BFG.
Collaboration Eezeebee – Optimizers
Eezeebee is a leading vendor of a multi-tenant Saas e-Commerce and PIM solutions that allows customers to operate a flexible multi-channel e-commerce strategy. The solutions are rich in functionalities and can be integrated with a wide range of back-office ERP systems. Current customer base of Eezeebee consists of 100 mostly wholesale customers, across various industry segments. The combined company will have more than 60 employees and approaches the EUR 10m revenue range.
Both founders of Eezeebee, Michael van der Knoop and Jeroen ten Napel, will stay on board as part of the management team and will continue as shareholder of the group.
Stefan van Diggelen (CEO Optimizers): The acquisition of Eezeebee is fully in line with the strategy of Optimizers to serve wholesale customers with a full suite of products and services across a variety of market verticals. Eezeebee’s strong B2B portals and Product Information Management (PIM) solutions are valuable and complementary additions to the existing offering of Optimizers. We can strengthen Eezeebee with our connectors and our international network, which means that the market for B2B Webshops for Eezeebee increases enormously.
Michael van der Knoop (CEO Eezeebee): For Eezeebee, the collaboration with Optimizers means that further professionalization can be carried out and that new insights and opportunities will be created for further growth. It provides a solid foundation for Eezeebee’s employees, customers and partners. This will further strengthen and expand the company. The collaboration provides the financial and operational strength to accelerate the national and international growth of Eezeebee.
Main Capital invested in Optimizers in July 2019 in order to accelerate business growth in the coming years. The strategic combination of Optimizers with Eezeebee is a solid first step in this strategy.
